Their specialties include rainfall-runoff analysis, stream hydraulics, water resource systems analysis and operations research, flood damage analysis, risk analysis, geographic information systems, database management systems, flood warning and emergency planning, real-time data collection and transmission, and Web technologies.</div> <div> All professional staff members have advanced degrees in engineering, hydrology, computer science, geography, or related fields. Engineers on our staff currently are registered in California, Texas, Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, North Carolina, Nevada, and Oklahoma. Staff engineers also are certified by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying, so they qualify for registration throughout the US.
