We have openings for water resources engineers:

Water resources engineer

Responsibilities include conducting hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, floodplain analyses, and planning studies; managing and analyzing data; applying and developing analytical methods and tools to arrive at innovative solutions to complex problems; drafting technical reports; supervising junior engineers and support staff; conducting or assisting with training courses; and managing projects from the proposal stage to completion. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or closely related field required. Master's degree in engineering or closely related field, with specialty in hydrology, hydraulics, or water resources systems, also required. California P.E., 3+ years related work experience, proficiency in hydrologic and hydraulic system computer modeling programs (HEC programs a plus), and project management experience required.

Associate water resources engineer

Under the guidance of senior staff, complete hydrologic and hydraulic studies, including modeling, floodplain analyses, and planning studies; collect, manage, and analyze data; assist in the development of analytical methods and tools; and draft technical reports. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or closely related field required. Master's degree in engineering or closely related field, with specialty in hydrology, hydraulics, or water resources systems, also required. California EIT certificate, 1-3 years related experience, training and/or experience with hydrologic and hydraulic system computer modeling programs (HEC programs a plus), and effective written and verbal communication skills required.
